Latest LoginTC Innovation Simplifies 2 Factor Authentication for VPNs
Ottawa, ON (PRWEB) February 11, 2015
Cyphercor Inc. is pleased to announce the release of its latest innovation a web-based admin interface for configuring the LoginTC RADIUS Connector which simplifies the process by which IT administrators can protect Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) using LoginTCs revolutionary brand of two-factor authentication (2FA).
With the new web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for admins, configuration of LoginTC for VPNs is expected to take less than 20 minutes, reducing the time commitment required by up to 80%, and augmenting LoginTCs position as the simplest-to-use high security 2FA system.
Prior to this innovation, administrators seeking LoginTCs unparalleled class of VPN security would download and install the LoginTC RADIUS Connector on their virtual machine host server and then configure it using configuration files, running commands from a text-based command-line interface.
Now, downloading and installing the RADIUS Connector prompts the administrator to navigate to a built-in URL in the LoginTC virtual appliance that walks him/her through the configuration process right in his/her web browser a more dynamic, interactive and familiar environment.
Key features added include mandatory testing and validation at every stage of the process with highlighted errors, and internal access to help and support all just a click away.
This will remove any friction that might have existed between admins and the execution process of bolstering VPN security using LoginTC two-factor authentication, says Diego Matute, CTO of Cyphercor. He continues, It will give administrators a lot more confidence while leaving less room for error.
Hernan Matute, CEO of Cyphercor adds, As evidenced by this advancement, Cyphercor is committed to providing customers with the ultimate user experience this applies not only to the end-user but also to our valued IT managers and administrators.
The previous method of configuration will remain an available option.

About LoginTC
LoginTC is an enterprise-grade, cloud-based two-factor authentication (2FA) solution that leverages virtualization and mobile investments to complement and protect existing IT practices and infrastructure. It delivers an elegant and supremely secure online experience, simple-to-use and scalable for millions of users, without significant costs. End-users install the LoginTC app on their mobile device (Blackberry, iOS or Android) or Google Chrome, converting the device into a second factor credential by loading administrator-issued tokens in the app. Future first-factor (username/password) access attempts to a LoginTC-enabled VPN or corporate application “push” a second factor request to the mobile device. The rich app interface then prompts users to approve or deny the access request.
Companies ranging from SMBs to enterprises including LTG Federal, Infostrada and Harlequin as well as government organizations already trust LoginTC. This can be attributed to LoginTCs unique and sought after characteristics: no Personally Identifiable Information (PII), secure remote password (SRP) protocol protection, borderless and safe push notifications rather than SMS, and fraud detection integration with dynamic CONTEXTUAL information for real-time threat alert.
Cyphercor Inc., the developer of LoginTC, is headquartered in Ottawa. For more information, visit https://www.logintc.com/.
