L-com Introduces Panel Mount DVI-D Cable Assemblies

L-com Global Connectivity, a preferred manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it has released a new series of panel mount DVI-D single link and dual link cable assemblies.

The PMDVI-DDLMF and PMDVI-DSLMF Series DVI cables feature a standard male DVI-D connector on one end of the assembly and a unique panel mount style female DVI-D connector on the other.

L-coms panel mount DVI cables provide a simple and cost-effective method of passing digital video signals through a panel or wall plate. The assemblies are shipped with cable mount and panel mount jackscrews, allowing for a quick transition to an in-line extension cable if required.

Additional features include dual ferrite beads, which reduce EMI/RFI, and 30 micro-inch gold plated connectors, which reduce signal loss.

Our new panel mount DVI cables are perfect for use in applications that require enclosure or panel DVI connectivity. In addition to their panel mounting capabilities, these assemblies can also be used as in-line extension cables for applications that require the extension of existing DVI cables, said Steve Smith, Product Manager.
