iVEDiX Releases miVEDiX Version 1.5 for Android

iVEDiX is announcing the newest release of miVEDiX on the Android platform for the end of Q3. Version 1.5 includes increased support for the Android operating system, as well as a host of new features. It will be made available in October of 2014.
Originally developed for Apple’s iOS, miVEDiX has continued to expand its reach into other technologies and platforms. In addition to the technology’s extensible back-end architecture, miVEDiX is being developed to engage more users by broadening support for different operating systems.
Kunal Tanwar, iVEDiX’s Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, says “We are very excited to release this latest version of miVEDiX for Android. The inclusion of the Android version has been a strategic goal for us from the very beginning, as it presents a huge market share for mobile devices. We are always making sure we don’t neglect one platform for another.”
One of the key features of miVEDiX is its ability to interface with any technology infrastructure that already exists, Tanwar says. “We want our customers and partners to see that miVEDiX is really a seamless mobile addition to their existing BI solution. If a business has iPads already in place, we can support that. If they have Android tablets in place, we can support that too. The last thing we want to do is force people to switch technologies, because that is just not practical.”
miVEDiX is a mobile analytics platform that is designed to bring visualization and interactivity to BI and analytics. Upgrades over the past several quarters have been driven in large part by customer feedback, Tanwar says. Improvements to the newest Android version include additional visual assets, interface adjustments, and numerous customer-requested features.
