Phone-to-Phone Texting Apps Keep Co-workers Connected Yet Off the Prying Eyes of an Employers Network
Rock hill, South Carolina (PRWEB) November 09, 2014
New phone-to-phone technologies are helping co-workers stay in touch outside of their traditional networks. Rather than texting several fellow employees for lunch arrangements, for instance, a user can now more subtly and easily reach out.
Many workers today try to avoid using an employers official network for private messaging; in some businesses its strictly prohibited. Phone-to-phone apps offer a convenient solution as people can text from smartphone to smartphones, independent of an actual network.
NearZone, developed by Ace Innovation Group, sends pings of information, usually messages or profiles, directly between the phones without relaying the data across a full network.
Friends at work can use the app to discreetly contact other co-workers without having to go through official channels. Likewise, the data transmitted is not saved to a network or server, allowing for greater privacy.
From a business perspective, the apps developers say it can help company departments work more in tandem with one another. NearZone can be used to better coordinate a sales staff, or for updates between security personnel and management.
The traditional systems we use to connect with one another are massive and surprisingly public, says Sandeep Grewal, a company executive. I think thats why people get excited about phone-to-phone. You dont have to rely on a middle man, and no ones looking over your shoulder.
Not every message needs to be bounced off three cellphone towers and a satellite, he continues. Its overkill, especially when theres a more elegant and simple solution readily available.
Grewal says phone-to-phone technology is becoming especially useful in the skies, allowing passengers in flight to connect with one another when phone and Wi-Fi is unavailable.
NearZone is available for free download here from AppStore. More information about NearZone can be obtained at http://www.NearZone.org
