Baite: Localization for Smart Electronic Devices

Despite a lot of uncertainties for regional economy in 2014, I believe the overall situation is stable, and shows uptrend momentum. For 2014 electronic industry, there will be no too high growth; but structural changes is obvious with smart, multi-functional electronic devices as well as Internet of Things related products will increase shares significantly, comparing with the decline of single-functional low-end products.

So, for distribution markets, 2014 will be filled with variables and challenges. Short replacement of new products as well as parts’ requirements for differentiation will post challenge to distribution markets’ response capacities, technical service abilities as well as inventory management capacities.

Medical, 4G LTE, security, digital home, smart terminal, LED, Internet of Things are our target markets in 2014. For these market trends, the introduction of new products will show more respect to end users’ experience; and launch time become faster, products to be richer, as such, these products will get closer to localization, platform to shorten design cycle.

As always, China is the manufacturing place of electronic industry; and export sources to meet needs of foreign markets, which pays more attention to supply chain management. But with the increasing of Chinese domestic market demand, China-based manufacturers will have to focus on the design link of localization.

The largest problem facing Chinese manufacturers may be the long development cycle of new products and weak competitiveness caused by insufficient accumulation of technology or inadequate design capability. Therefore, since 2012, Baite has invested more resources to offer customers new product solution, where power concentrated solutions, wireless audio products solution has get good return-customers shortening R&D cycle while greatly reduce R&D risk and resource investment.
